ACCESS

Just like Alex, i believe ACCESS is an important item in the Alabama school system today. It helps mainly with distance learning.

This is a program that through school counselors, is available to any student in the state of Alabama that needs it. On the website http://accessdl.state.al.us/ is some important information relating to this program

Fischbowl movie

I enjoyed watching a film about different statistics from around the world from 2006. It was a very educational experience for me. Alot of these, actually most of this I did not have a clue about.

I believe, however, that it is a good thing that the world is moving more and more toward technology. Also, if we rely to much on technology and something messes up, how big of a mess will we be in.

ALEX

ALEX or the Alabama Learning Exchange provides many different learning opportunities for students. Its provides programs and online websites for students to use as learning tools. It also provides instructors wit ha very helpful teaching tool and has online teaching tools.

It covers almost every field including mathematics, science, physical education, health, science, social studies, art education and more.

First Day of Class

I am now sitting in on my first day of EDM 310 and just created my first blog. This looks like it could be a very helpful feature and probably I will enjoy using it. I will be posting very frequently. I am from Clarke County, Alabama and a 2005 graduate of Leroy High School.
